What is DQT?
Daily Quiet Time (or Daily Quality Time) with the Lord.
I don't have time for that.
Time can be tight in our busy lives, but we typically make some amount of time for what we want to do and need to do.
So, how do I make time for it?
Perhaps you can tie it to something you do every day, such as doing it right before/after a meal or right before/after taking a shower (hopefully that is every day). Or simply make it a daily appointment at a certain time. Or you can let it be the first/last thing you do every day (assuming you won't be too sleepy to make it quality time).
How long does it need to be?
How long does it take to talk with your wife/friend? As long as it takes, right? Same answer here. Don't worry about length of time. Just spend time, and you're done when you're done.
What do I do?
There are two key elements: prayer and reading God's Word. Remember, this is conversation and relationship. You can also use devotionals such as "Stand Firm" to help you get started.
When do I start?
Now.
